It seems like everyone has been posting their best ofs in the past few days, and I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of my most popular posts, too.

None of the favorites surprised me, because they’ve been consistently popular and are the sorts of articles you’d expect to be popular on a site like this. What I didn’t expect that I think is pretty cool is that one of these pages ranks at the bottom of the front page of Google when you search for “toddler busy bags.” Or at least when I do. best of 2012

The Top Seven of 2012

Most people did a top five, 10 or 12 list. Mine is seven, only because number eight was a giveaway post and that’s not very exciting.

  1. How to Lengthen a Shirt with Another Shirt: I figured this would be popular among parents with tall kids, but I didn’t imagine how popular. If I did, I would have taken better photos. (That’s a big goal for 2013, for sure!)
  2. Busy Bags Part 1: All of these came about as part of a busy bag swap some moms in a local meetup group did. I wanted to document all the bags for people who didn’t get to attend or who wanted certain ones they couldn’t get their hands on. It was a lot of fun and the Bit still plays with these pretty regularly. Even though they’re in pieces all over the house.
  3. Busy Bags Part 5
  4. Busy Bags Part 2
  5. Busy Bags Part 3
  6. Busy Bags Part 4 I have no idea why they came out in this order!
  7. 64 Sick Day, Rainy Day, Any Day Activities to Do with Your Toddler: This post came about when the Bit was home sick and I decided to keep track of all the things we did that day. A lot of these things came from that day, but it was March, so I rounded the list out to 64 things to combat “March Madness.” I do love a good pun.

Want to share your most popular post of the year? I’d love to take a look! And if you have any ideas or questions I can answer for you in a post this year I’d be happy to help, so let me know.
